Pakistan marks return of international hockey with 3-0 win

KARACHI: Asian Games Champions Pakistan got off to a confident start in the four-match hockey series with an easy 3-0 win over China at the Hockey Club of Pakistan on Wednesday. It was a historic occasion as international hockey returned to Pakistan after seven years. Pakistan enjoyed the upper hand during the match and utilized half of their half a dozen penalty corners to secure a comfortable win. Nasir, Rahim defy Pakistan’s attack

DHAKA: Nasir Hossain hit a maiden Test half-century to keep Pakistan’s attack at bay as Bangladesh reached 200-5 in their second innings at lunch on the last day of the second and final Test on Wednesday.
